The initial decision to turn a project you’ve been working on public is daunting. It takes a lot of courage to become vulnerable before people and allow them to see into your work, after all, no one wants to exert all their time and energy into something only for the idea to be a total flop.
I often find myself stuck in this fear, and I have to remind myself that if I put my dreams on hold because of the possibility of failure, then I will miss out on so much. Sure, I may not always end up with the results I hoped for, but I won’t have results at all if I don’t try.
With that being said, it’s taken me awhile to decide to start my own blog, but I figured I might as well give it a shot. I’ve always had a love for creativity whether it be spending time crafting greeting cards (kardsbykae.com) or trying my hand in graphic design, and this blog will hopefully be an extension of this. I also hope this space will be a way for me to document what goes on in the mind of a high school senior while preparing for the future, but still living in the moment.
